Is it possible to make a proof of my creation by sending an e-mail to my own mail account. For example if I write a story, scan those papers and mail to my own e-mil id. If anybody in future writes the same story then can I claim the same creation has already made by me earlier and put the saved mail as my evidence of creation with certain date??

I think the best way to protect your creation is to get it copyrighted in your name.

Yes if you just want to keep it for your self no use but for publication or making a movie or any other plan best way is to copyright the same then move forward see registered work goes handy then unregistered creation of you skill
