Non delivery of property as contracted by builder

We bought 2 plots from Unitech in their Mohali , Punjab  Project  and paid 95% of the final project  amount (using a bank loan from HDFC BAnk). Over 2 years ago Unitech was supposed to give us the delivery of the completed project.

We are looking  for a legal action against them so that we could recover our invested funds and be able to pay off our loans on these properties.

We have been advised that since the amount involved here is more then 1 cr we should file the case with National Commission.

Please advise the likely outcome and time lines   and how we should proceed and how we could retain a lawyer for helping us with the case

Besides consumer complaint before National Commission you have the option to seek the relief of Specific Peformance with consequential damages, if any as per covenants of the agreement, show the document to local lawyer, seek his/her advise/guidence and proceed

First issue legal notice to them demanding your requirement as per the sale agreement, based on their reply, you may choose to initiate appropriate legal action.
