Hindu remarriage

In case of Hindu rem marriage to a widow with children. 

Do widow children have any legal obligation from her new husband?

yes they become legal heir of their respective step father/ mother , they possess all rights in his/her property as a natural son possess the right .

Not at all... the children from the first husband of the widow will remain his children only and does not become the legal heir of their step father. They will inherit the property of their natural father and mother only and does not have any right over the step father's property. The step father has no legal obligation to maintain his step-children unless he legally adopts them.
