Me and my two friends had booked 3 flats and had given part payment to him.Builder had issued the receipts also in our respective name.Then a Income Tax search occured at his place and the construction work was stopped.We also stopped giving him further money and asked him to first start again construction work and take the payment.Now builder has sold our flats to some one else.He is not picking our calls,The broker is not replying.Please guide us what should be done under such circumstances.
Should we file a Police complaint or send him legal notice or some other steps as you may guide us.
