hello,
How to apply for arm license for self protection ?
can a normal common citizen apply for it ? and why not ? when he has a life threat from the accused party ?
is there anyother ways for protection for a common citizen of this country ?

Yes.. you can apply for arms license for your own protection under Arms Act, 1959... But you must have such circumstances or evidence that there may be danger for your life....
First you have to take training for handling of arms, thereafter file application to Commissioner of police if you are residing in metro city, or to collector....
