I have got my property registered on march in kolkata in my and my wife name. But the loan that I have taken has my wife name first and then my name. Now the lender wants me to get a deed of declaration for the same. I want to know what need to be done for this.

as the property is in your name and your's wife name. that is both of you have equal rights. so the lender asked you to get a declaration from you. in that circumstances both you and your wife sign on the document. then no declaration is necessary. this is for information.

thanks for the info. But lender wants the deed to have my wife name first and then my name. As we cannot change the deed now, the deed of declaration should mentioned the same. I am not sure on what can be the corrective action. But the problem is they are unwilling to release my registration amount unless this is changed
