Help needed :-- How to decipher CITATOR INFO

Hello firends,

I am going through the Indian Supreme court judgments at www.worldlii.org/in. I am having  one questions regarding the same :---

1. I am seeing an entry like this,  in one judgment delivered on 22nd nov 1967 by thhe Supreme court of India.

CITATOR INFO :--

Could somebody explain :-- a :-- What is citator info ? b :-- What it means by, R 1971 SC1021 (11), D 1971 SC1997 (8) etc. Thanks in advance, Sushanta

Citator is the reference in future judgments. It gives the information like the judgment delivered on 22nd Nov 1967 was referred in which all judgments.  R- Relied upon, D- Distinguished, F- Followed.

E.g. R 1971 SC1021 (11) means that judgment delivered on 22nd Nov 1967 was relied in AIR 1971 SC 1021.
