Divorce through video conferencing

Hello,

My cousin got married on June 2012 and her husband is in United States now. Both of them look forward to get divorce. But her husband could not be able to come back to India for hearing. She will be leaving to United states for an assignment. Both of them will not be available for hearing. Can you please give the procedure on how to apply and get divorce through video conferencing. Thanks a lot for helping us.

State : Tamil Nadu

City: Chennai

Thanks and Regards

1. You need to elaborate as under what provision of the divorce law such petition has been filed.

2. Yes, video conferencing is now a procedural  law provided that such court is competent to take such evidences and is equipped with the infrastructure for to process such video conferencing.

3. This is  forum free question.

4. For more in depth consultation you may consider to have  phone consultation with this lawyer  if need be.
