Death penalty

Friends,

An accused is sentenced to capital punishment in one of the cases. And there are other cases pending trial against the very same accused. Now my question is whether the execution of the sentence will be stayed pending the trial of other similar cases or the sentence will be carried out without giving any importance to the pendency of other charges?

Till the disposal of other pending cases the conviction can't be carried out as per as my knowledge.
