There is a case between me and my opponent at chennai. This case was filled against me when i was in chennai. My opponent located at chennai now. But now i am moved to Madurai and madurai is my permanent location hearafter. So can I file a defamation case in madurai court?

The defamation case can be filed only at the place where the alleged incidence of defamation took place.
