We have a mobile tower on our building. The company pays a lease rent amount. Normally this is never paid on time and only after a lot of follow up. The amount paid to us is TDS deducted amount. But they have not paid the TDS because it is not appearing on the Form 26AS. We have to file return by Sept 15 and there is tax to pay so we want to show TDS paid but the company does not want to give us Form 16A until end of the year - means they wont pay the tax to the Govt also until that date. Obviously this is wrong but they are doing it.
What is the remedy?
