Residential ceryificate..

Why is compelled by the MEE SEVA kendras that an affidavit duly notarised be submitted along with the application for a residential certificate where as per the printed form there no such condition?

Secondly what are the reasoning for and against asking the applicant to get his /her application duly attested by two state govt gazetted officers..

Those are root causes of many evils..in fact starting point for brokers/agents to make money for getting the attestation done as well as getting it notarised..

Can this unwarranted practise be stopped forthwith..the house No can be easily scanned and pasted on the application which then can be verified by the police or the concerned officials.
