Ironicallly, in the state owned insurance sector an ex- high profile officer deputed at general insurers' public sector association was promoted despite alleged loss of about 35 lakh caused by him as chief executive ,that is,functional head of said association.

The said officer was deputed at the General Insurer's Public Sector Association during 2004,while he was serving as vigilance officer in the Oriental Insurance Company Ltd.
