The principal objective of competition law is to foster fair competition as an instrument for accelerating inclusive growth through innovation and economic efficiencies thus maximising consumer welfare by offering better products at most competitive prices. It's often difficult to assess the link between competition policy & law and economic development. However, competition law has always enabled the growth process by conserving scarce resources and aiding the growth process in the economy. The Conference is designed to discuss in-depth domestic and international competition law issues and its relevance to Indian Economy.
