One of my client is interested in starting up the business of courier services. Kindly let me know if he requires to take anyl license or other permissions to start the business.
Except registration of his establishment under Shops & Establishments Act, no other license seems to be required for the present. However, there are prohibitions and conditions about business by private parties other than the Postal Department. Your friend would need to read the Post Office Act and the Post Office Guide to take care to avoid or to comply.
