Validity of Wills made in India in other Countries

Person residing in India has investments in Singapore and USA (countries where he was residing before moving back to India) and intends to make a Will bequething the same to his family members. Is the Will made in India recognised in these countries ? If not what is the process to be followed in these countries?

They are acceptable piece of evidence, how ever, it has to be seen whether the wills needs to be registered and laws governed by acts in those countries, in my personal opinion if a will is registered, it is perfectly legal and sets all other things to rest.

you will have to get it probated first in india and then file it in court of those countries for execution. this reciprocal arrangements are in existence with us and singapore.
