Only copy of deed after partition based on will?

Hello Sir,

My name is Maya. Can you please clarify my doubt about family property partition after parents death? We are christians from kerala. My parents died few years ago and my father wrote only will. We are 3 brothers and now we are trying to do the partition of our family property. But when we talked to adharam office, they are saying only one of the brothers get the original title of deed documents. Others will get only registrar's certified copies of the documents. Is it true? Can we do any transaction with certified copies? Is it valid? Shouldn't we also supposed to get our share's original deed documents? Please advise.

Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Maya Thomas

Hello Maya...

As per my knowledge.....Original Copy is one only....u have to get that certified.....certified copy is as valid as Original one.....no need to worry about its Authenticity.....u can use that copy any time as per your need....no one can deny that copy.....
