Civil court looses documents

Dear Experts,

What is the course of action for a Plaintiff/Defendant in a case when Original documents that were submitted to the court along with a receive document petition were lost when in the possession of the court. The receive document petition was approved but documents were not yet marked.

Please advice.

you can file a petition to receive if certified copies are available or if they are not public documents if you have copies of the orginal documents you can file them and ask for reconstruction of records

Are you understood what Sivaram stated . In fact your meaning of approved is it petition allowed . See filing documents and receiving is very different form marking a documents because for marking that you should examine yourself as party or any witness on your side otherwise documents cannot be marked .
