We were looking to register our apartment's association under societies act but we are told that its no more done under the mentioned act and we have to approach apartments act for registration. Now my point is that the rules and regulations under apartments act is very rigid and stringent and generally big apartments and complexes go for this act. Our apartment has just 20 flats and it will be difficult for us to regularly comply with the requirement of the apartment act. Is it possible that if we approach societies act and convey our concern, they will consider it and allow our association to get registration under it.
