about blank cheque

my father died 2 months back he issued some blank cheque is there any chances to criminal suit against us
if cheque bounces?

Inform the bank concerned the information about death oyour father duly citing the account number.

 

You are asking about criminal cases. Criminal cases cannot be filed on persons who are no more and such criminal case cannot be filed against legal heirs.

From the date of death intimation, further transactions can not be permitted in the account, and a cheque bouncing case is not possible against the deceased drawer.  However, you may be accountable for such legal borrowing by your father if you have shared his assets after his death.

Get the blank cheques destroyed and intimate the Banker.

No criminal liability against you for holding such signed blank cheque(s).
