Is it possible to get divorxe if the partners are not in love with each other anymore?

W do not love each other anymore & have gone through councelling and stuff . So its not a contested divorce. Its with mutual consent But within the divorce grounds in india, i couldn't find a fitting provision for this. cruelty; desertion; voluntary s*xual inter-course with another person; the other spouse being of unsound mind; ,conversion of religion by the other spouse, Leprosy etc are the grounds I believe. But ours doesnt fall under any of this. Is is possible for us to split & move on?

That means your promise for being partner in each others sorrows and hapinesses ended due to reason that the bond turned ugly and stalled with passage of time. It is like elastic or what, you loose the collagen of life.

Marraige is in itself a beautiful bond and subserveint to other ingredients, beyond the limits of love and hate, it is sublime, but your marriage seems to have based it chin of claimatic moods.

However if you mutually are ready to get seperated you can file for divorce, mutually you need not to show all that stuff you exhibited in your query here. Just file for mutaul divorce and that is enough to tell the court that your love is no more alive,...

The Hindu Marriage Act (HMA), 1955 and India Divorce Act (IDA), 1869 does not uploads it as a valid reason to enter into Divorce.

However, if both of you are willing to get a divorce, you may enter in Divorce Mutual Understanding.
Mutual Divorce is a legal process of separation, when both the husband and wife want to separate with their own will after marriage, is called at Divorce with Mutual Consent.
