Termination of chilren and mother relationship by law

If a mother left her children in their adolescence and ran with her paramoiur.The father has taken ex party dirvoce with no maintaince to wife . Now if a mother comes in her old age after leaving home for 16 years,requesting to give money and shelter. This is my friend's case.The chilren are saying they want to terminate the relationship as mother and children by law by the reason that mother had not performed her resposibilities with her children, so they will not take care of her mother and will not give any maintence to her.Please suggest me whether children are right or wrong in lawful view.

There is possibility of claiming maintenance under Welfare of Senior Citizen Act. So you cannot deny her maintenance. No court will pass such order to terminate the relationship. Pl remove that from your mind. Forgive her and take care of her in the old age.

Hello,

Under the law, she has the right to claim maintenance from your father and from you. There is no law to terminate the relationship with the mother.

She has behaved as she wants,She has done adultery which is proved the court.The court did not give order of maintenance.vice versa the father is thinking about a case on her for damages to him and children when she will find.
