Dividing property

My grand father has four sons he has one house got ancestarly and bought 3 houses .He did not write any will.

Of the three houses 2 houses were purchsed (registration deed) on four sons

one house registered in his name.

After his death all four sons by word of mouth chose their choise of house and living.

What should be done to make the houses registered or divided ?

The ansisteral house and the one purchased in his own name can be divided among the legal hairs.  The houses purchased in sons name are property of their own.  That cannot be divided among other sons unless they agree to do so.
