The following are the documents required 

​1)  Marriage Certificate

2)Address Proof - Husband and Wife.

3)Four Photographs of Marriage.

4)Income tax Statement of last 3 years.

5)Details of profession and Income (Salary slips, appointment letter)

6)Details of Property and Asset owned

7)Information about family (husband and wife)

8)Evidence of Staying separately for an year

9)Evidence relating to the failed attempts of reconciliation

Hello Sir/Maam,

Subject to the provisions of Hindu Marriage Act, petition for dissolution of marriage under Section 13(B) of the Hindu Marriage Act is filed in a court under the appropriate jurisdiction.

The following documents are required in the case of mutual consent divorce:

• Address proof of husband
• Address proof of wife
• Marriage certificate of the spouse
• Four passport size photographs of the marriage of both the husband and wife
• Evidence proving spouses are living separately for more than a year.
• Evidence relating to the failed attempts of reconciliation. 
• Income tax statements for the last 2-3 years
• Details of the profession and present remuneration
• Information relating to family background
• Details of properties and other assets owned by the petitioner

*The photocopies of the aforementioned documents are to be submitted.

if there have no marriage registration,like village area maximum marriage is social marriage then what type of documents are required to get mutual divorce,? if there have any solution plz tell .

Hi Suparna,

Marriage registration certificate is not a pre-requisite for filing a divorce application. You can furnish other documents like marriage photos and cards with the application.
