The property shall devolve  upon the legal heirs, if you are only legal heir then get the legal heir certificate and  apply for the transfer  of the property in records in yur name 

Upon your father's death, all his legal heirs became the co-owners in equal proportion. Lets assume there were four legal heirs and now they are co-owners of 1/4 share each in one property.
