Is it possible that a name is not registered in an FIR, but it comes in a charge sheet?

That is not an issue, just charge cheet is filed and you need to appear to defend your case.

1. FIR is filed on receiving first information, in as it is condition, relating to the cognizable crime and the probable suspected accused/s.

2. Later on Police Investigation finds actual picture of Crime and that actual /more accuseds were involved in the Crime.  Here the Police adds the Crime and the names of accuseds and finally prepares the charge-sheet.

3. Conclusively, Crime sections can be added /deleted and Accused persons can be added /removed in the Charge Sheet to the Court, as per the Police Investigation Report.
