what will be the importance of the original sale deed of a property after it has been gifted to daughter via registering the gift deed?
the reason to get the gift deed is. the original sale deed there is an error in the name of the orginal seller who were 2 partner realtors. the person whose name was erred has given an affidavit supporting the document. but since to legalise the document a rectification deed has to be registered. but unfortunately the we are unable to trace the another person who originally so the property for correction. so i would like to know if we register a gift deed in the name of daughter from the owner with it dissolve the liability of the original title deed? kindly help.
(p.s the property is in delhi)

You can gift without any problem...but to keep update pay consecutive 3 years property tax from her side in every year.Andd all due bills pay by her name in registry office/MCD and all.
But keep original deed also kept with you
