resignation while I am on mediacal leave

I joined Maharashtra state power generation co.ltd as lower divisional clerk on compensantory ground 9months back and now I am on my medical leave... I want to give resign. can I resign on mail.

Depends on service conditions attached to your job. Service rules of your state are to be read in order to determine the notice period and mode of resigning as you are a state govt employee.
