A MIDC plot for construction of a factory has been obtained on lease, with the approval of MIDC. Gram Panchayat of the area where the MIDC plot is located is saying that - pursuant to Sec. 52 of the Mumbai Grampanchayat Act, 1958 - the Company has to take approval from Gram Panchayat before starting the construction of building on the plot.
My query is - does the Company has to take approval of the Gram Panchayat also for construction on MIDC plot, wherein all the required MIDC approvals have been obtained by the Company ? Kindly guide. The area of plot is MIDC, Pune
