NI Act contradiction on signature

in cross examination complainant said, accused issued cheque with signature and thumb impression clearly,
but he presented the cheque contains only signature.
can accused acquittal?
please post some case lawas relating the above contradiction

Complainanf has to prove that "the cheque bears the signature of accused " and the same was issued against the legal enforceabl debt or liability is sufficient and nothing has to be proved Accused can not be escaped for offence on the questioned statement .
