I ran away from marriage

Page no : 2

N.K.Assumi (Advocate)     16 September 2018

Every marriage has a story to tell, so does every divorce has a story which only you knows it. You don't hsave to be embraced for failure of firrst or second marriage as there are stories behind it, which the world may not know, and what the world think about you is not important, but how you organized your life is important. Get divorce or reconciled as early as possible before life catches you up. All the best Bhavana.

Hi

In terms of legal provisions, Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955 deals with the various grounds of divorce.  Among these grounds, desertion is also an important ground which is given in Section 13(1) (iii). It actually means when a party to the marriage permanently leaves the other party without any valid reason and without the consent of another party. This may also include the ignorance of the one party to the other party. Thus, it is not only the abandonment of place but it is also of the situation and if this situation of desertion continues for more than two years, then it shall be the ground of divorce.

On these grounds

Regards

Ashish

It depends. A) Most importantly identifying a person in this digital world is not a big deal. He might be knowing it already and for a purpose wants you to be away of him. B) why dont you proceed for divorce rather than absconding and being comcealed? C) Is it consummated? You have children?
