Dear Advocate,

I would like to know my father prepared a will on my name & he gave everthing to me by will, also he is not giving anything to my 2 sisters, and his property is not ancester....so will this property is totally mine?

As it is the   the self acquired propertyof your father,  her has every right to dispose it according to his will as such as per the will you alone are eligible for the properties bequeathed to you.

As replied by Kiran, since the properties are self acquired they belong to you by virtue of your father's will, however, in larger interests it is advisable to probate the will to ward off any legal hassles in the future. The will shall operate upon death of your father and a probate can be taken any time thereafter, there is no time limit to apply for probation.
