why Indemnity, guarantee, Bailment, Pledge and Agency contracts are called special contracts.. can any one please elucidate...

Lawfully, there is no as such special may in gerenal sense to understand a common it may be called.

Those are not special contracts, but Specific Contracts. there's a difference between special and specific.
