What is your opinion ?

Rajan Salvi (Lawyer)     29 August 2008

You have asked what is "HUMANITY'

The word itself  had the word human . In a sense human beings are distinguished from animals - meaning that it it better to be human than have animilistic qualities.

I beg to differ. Animals are more human. Man eats when he is not hungry, can kiill when is not angry and though he wears clothes he would like to remove them at the drop of the hat to make love to persons he does not love. ANIMALS DO NOT DO SO.

Dear Praksh,

Humanity menas:

The quality of being humane; the kind feelings, dispositions, and sympathies of man; especially, a disposition to relieve persons or animals in distress, and to treat all creatures with kindness and tenderness. Humanity is the human species, human nature (e.g. compassion, altruism) and the human condition (the totality of experience of existing as a human). It is also the study of one branch of the humanities, academic disciplines which study the human condition using analytic, critical, or speculative methods. The quality of being human; the peculiar nature of man, by which he is distinguished from other beings.

Dear Prakash,

According to me, Humanity means All human being are collectively called humanity. They exhibit the quality of being human; benevolent; kind; mercy, etc. The sole moral obligation of human being is to work for the improved welfare of humanity at large. These are also called human attributes.

once it was a great word. Our apex courts gave good value to that word than the laws. But now every one is forgetting that word including judiciary.
