framing charges

we have submitted our plaint in court with copies of relevant proofs ......now what is the procedure for framing of charges on part of advocate, if any please provide the format......

is it a civil suit or criminal complaint?
plaint is in civil suit where Defendant has to file written statement after receipt of summons from Defendant
and in criminal cases, if it's a pvt complaint it will have to go thru stage of verification and then process will be issued

its a long procedure. u may refer to code of criminal procedure chapter under framing charges.
