Family court

Respected experts, I would like to know whether a lawyer can attend the Family Court on behalf of his client on a date as the client is on tour and will not be available on that particular date. Regards.

Yes, Your Advocate can attend yoru case. It is a civil case and your day to day presence is not required. Your advocate can seek exemption on your behalf and you can attend the court only during the trial (Examination in Chief and Cross Examination).
