Hello,
I am trying to get the Marriage Certificate. I was married in Sept 2008. I have all the required documents. Only problem I have is that currently I am not in India. The registrar offic is asking me to be present before they can initiate the certificate. Could you please let me know if there is any possibilty to get this Certificate so that my wife can apply for Dependent VISA.

If your marriage is not regd., file an application before the registrar of marriage along with proof of marriage. It can be done by your parents also.
