Central Scheme to victims of Terrorist and Communal violence under the Ministry of Home affairs was introduced with effect from 1st April 2008. Under this scheme if a police ,soldier or any government servant who is the sole bread winner of the family is killed can be given central assistance or not under the scheme. Recently Ministry of Home afairs decline to give assistance to a soldier who was killled on duty by the militants in Manipur with reasons that he was a government servants.If so does the scheme exclude government servant?
