i am obc certificate holder and my caste christian is also included in state bc list.
but in my state punjab reservation is made only for sc st and bd ,not for obc ,so can i apply for bc post being obc ?
or i will have to make bc certificate,?is it legal to have both obc and bc certificate?plzz help

If you want to claim reservation in your state, you have to apply for bc cert in your state only. OBC cert will not be of any use. I think christanity is not backward class as per state rules. OBC is the term known as Other backward community, so you are already a BC by which you are entitled for the reservation of privileges announced. You may apply for a BC certificate and apply for the same.
