All are equal some are more equal

All are Equal but Some are More Equal

‘George Orwell’

Judges have power to issue directions for systematic killing of a person and to send him to gallows.

They have power to direct auction of entire property of a person and to send him as a beggar on a street.

They have power to break down matrimonial ties and to separate husband and wife.

They have been vested with an authority to declare law made by parliament void.

They have power to allow ousting of a thousand of project affected poor persons, throwing them on streets under open sky and burning sun, without their rehabilitation before displacement.

Really they are omnipotent in the system.

They, therefore, should obviously be above suspicion as Caesar’s wife should be.

And if they claim to be honest and men of integrity and shout all the time for transparency.

Why, then, they refuse to be transparent themselves?

Why they should fear public scrutiny, and try to cover themselves under a shelter, in the name of Independence of Judiciary?

I do not know?
