Process of obtaining the patta from the tahsildar(mro)

Respected Advocates Experts,

I am enjoying an agricultural land of 1.0 Acres from the last 12-Years by raising the crops.My entry is there in the Pahani or Adnagal of the revenue record.Now i am planning to take the PATTA from the MRO or Tahsildar.But i am not understanding the process of getting the patta from the revenue authority.Can anyone exaplain the process of getting the patta from the revenue authority.
