Is Arrest Mandatory in 498a ?

Experts is arrest mandatory in 498a just after registration of FIR. If it is not a mandatory , then why to take anticipatory bail. regards 498a frauds

Since it is non bailable offence...police can arrest the accused by taking the necessary permissions from the department....usually permission is given for husband and for others depending upon the allegations. ..that is why it is suggested to take the anticipatory bail... But there is some supreme court guidelines on arrest.what is that ? If arrest will go on normal procedure. What is formal arrest ?
