I was issued a challan of Rs. 1000 for jumping red light. However, I contested the challan from virtual courts website and the matter was transferred to regular court.
The court, however, increased the amount of challan to Rs. 3000 which I paid.
I have to fill the following declaration for a government job:
"Have you been ever fined by a court of law?"
What should I write in the declaration and if it yes, whether the department will allow me to join the job?

Write "YES" as a minor punishment for crossing the red light.
