Declaration regarding bigamous marriage

Dear Experts

My 1st wife filled 498a and 34 IPC.

Later got compromised in HC and got divorced in Family court.

Then I got married.

Now I got selected for Central Government.

Here, I am supposed to give Declaration regarding Bigamous Marriage.

The format is:

1. I hereby declare that I have only one living legally married spouse neither entered or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living.

2. Also, I am a divorcee/not a divorcee from my earlier marriage. (please strike out whichever is not applicable).

Experts please tell regarding Point No 2:

Regards

You can can strike out the second part (of point 2) and declare that you are a divorcee.

I concur the opinion and advise of expert Mr. P Venu, if you are a diovrcee you are required to strikeout 2.i.e., not a divorcee.
