What to do if an employer refuses resignation submitted by employee even after having acknowledged it?

Hari Shankar ji thanks for your reply. I am in process of resigning from sbi. Though from their behaviour now it seems they are trying to create trouble. Now they are asking me to come to branch for exit interview but I don't want to go because environment there is not very good. Can I decline to attend exit interview?
