When husband offers the rent amount to wife towards alternate accomodation, how does the court calculates the rent amount ? Is it on the basis of husband's salary or the place where husband is residing currently? If husband starts staying at a bad place to manipulate the court, then will the judge ask for husband's salary to calculate the rent amount ?

The affidavit submitted by the husband (as per Rajnish vs Neha judgment of Supreme Court) the court shall consider and calculate his status, the only source of information with Court.
