There is no protection against non-paymnt exceptmapproaching the company/bank, whose credit is pending against you and to seek some more period to repay if you have any difficulty to repay at this stage.

Yes, the Bank can take steps for recovery, but in accordance with law. It is not lawful to contact the employer or other third persons.
