Hi

Hi,

one of someone whom I know is going out with a female  and soon going to get married. Someone stopped his marriage and broke his marriage from outside forcing that girl not to meet my friend. Her friends or someone telling that girl that he is middle class, employee and not lavish, not rich, not manly etc.

What is the ipc section and punishment for spoiling someone’s marriage?

The Indian Penal Code, 1860 / Marriage ceremony fraudulently gone through without lawful marriage.
---------------------
Whoever,
dishonestly or with a fraudulent intention, goes through the ceremony of being married, knowing that he
is not thereby lawfully married, shall be punished with imprisonment of either descripttion for a term
which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.

You can complain to the Police or file a private complaint before the Magistrate.
or file suit for damages and get compensation in a Civil Court.

That is fair enough. Any idea what will happen if a man is blackmailed and threatened not to think about prospects about marrying anyone or else they will bankrupt him by withdrawing their capital, fire him from employment, break their friendship, defame him in public etc. No girl friend involved.
