Yes, Notice is perfectly valid and issued within limitation period of 30 days from the intimation of cheque return.

Even in those cases where the notice was not issued within 30 days, the cheque can be represented and notice can be issued after the second return if the cheque is not stale.

However, 15 days after receipt of notice the complaint should be filed within 30 days.
