Irrevocable power of attorney

Seller of Agriculture land given Irrevocable POA to buyer at the time of Agreement for sale. The same POA has been given for to obtain necessary sale permission from concern authority, Sign on various doc, sale of land and sign at registrar office etc... Thereafter the Sale deed happened and both the places i.e. buyer and seller, POA holder signed as the same has been purchased by him. Is it legal? Now the Purchaser (POA ) holder wants to sell this property to others in this case is it required to cancel Irrevocable POA? Please guide. Thanks.

Hello,

Transaction narrated by you is a valid and legal transaction. The purchaser can sell the property to a third person. No need to cancel the irrevocable power of attorney. If you are the new purchaser then you will have to examine all the documents from the local advocate and also get the title and search report of the property.
